Fifth Avenue Apartment Combination

New York, New York

A couple purchased the adjacent apartment in the 1920s Rosario Candela building in which they lived, with hopes of expanding the living spaces, and taking maximum advantage of light and views. With this goal in mind, we nearly doubled the size of the main living space. The existing kitchen was also opened up to a new family room, allowing for a flexible and relaxed arrangement. The clean, understated finishes of the new millwork, and the clients’ modern-classic furniture collection, complement the solid pre-war bones of the apartment.
